Looking to take your electrical design career beyond just drafting?
We're working with one of the largest employee-owned electrical contractors in the U.S. to add a Designer to their growing Charlotte team. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, high-profile projects while building real ownership in the company through their ESOP program.
This role is ideal for someone who's proficient in Revit/BIM and wants to be more involved in actual design.

responsibilities:
- Lead development of electrical design models and drawing packages (Revit/BIM) from concept through permit and construction (DOR/CD sets)
- Design power, lighting, and auxiliary systems, including layouts, panel schedules, and basic load/lighting calculations
- Work within a design-build environment, coordinating closely with architects, engineers, and MEP trades throughout the full project lifecycle
- Produce accurate, constructible drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Collaborate with project teams and support/mentor junior designers as needed
- Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in electrical design, BIM/Revit modeling, or MEP environments (flexible based on relevant experience)
- Heavy proficiency in Revit/BIM (2D & 3D) with experience developing permit/construction drawing sets
- Electrical background preferred; open to other trades with proven experience delivering full design packages in a design-build setting
