Connect Staffing is hiring a Coating Machine Operator for a manufacturing plant in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire afternoon shift position paying $19.50/hr. In this role, you will set up and thread material rolls through a coating machine, configure pump, tote, hose, and adhesive components per work order, and unload and stage finished rolls. Up to 2 hours of daily overtime is available, with weekend availability required when scheduled.

Pay:$19.50/hr

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM; up to 2 hours daily OT; weekends when scheduled

Responsibilities

• Set up and align material rolls on the unwind shaft and thread material through the coating machine.
• Configure pump, tote, hose, liner, and adhesive components according to the work order.
• Monitor machine operation throughout the shift to ensure output meets quality standards.
• Unload finished rolls from the machine and move them to the correct staging area.
• Read and follow shop orders, material part numbers, and weekly production schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating or attending web-feed or roll-to-roll machines.
• Familiarity with coating, laminating, printing, or converting processes.
• Experience setting up fluid delivery components such as pumps, hoses, or totes.
• Background in vinyl, graphics, label, or specialty materials manufacturing.
• Ability to read shop orders, part numbers, and production schedules.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to work at a fast pace throughout the shift.
• Steel toe boots required (employee-provided).
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Drug screen required.
• Background check required.
