Patient Care Assistant Program (CNA) - June cohort Bell Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest:The PCA Program offers individuals the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in direct patient care. This paid program is ideal for those who are eager to begin a career in healthcare but do not yet possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Program Start Date: Monday, June 8, 2026 This 6-month program includes 2 weeks of mandatory daytime classroom training to build foundational clinical knowledge and skills essential for success in the patient care setting. Participants in this program will receive training in: Basic nursing skills, staff and patient safety, infection prevention and control, documentation of patient care activities. The PCA Program provides comprehensive preparation to support nursing teams and deliver compassionate patient care. It is an excellent stepping stone for individuals pursuing careers in nursing, healthcare, or related fields. At the end of the program, interns must pass a knowledge assessment and successfully complete skills and techniques validation. Full-time or part-time commitment required until 175 training hours are completed. The June cohort will also have a limited amount of youth opportunities available. Limited DAY shift openings are available at this time. Application deadline: March 30, 2026. Interviews will begin in March or April 2026.
