Guardian Tax is hiring experienced Tax Preparers for our Irvine office who are ready to start immediately. This role is built for professionals with a strong foundation in tax preparation who can handle volume with precision and confidence. We're looking for individuals who take their work seriously, understand the importance of accuracy, and can step in and contribute from day one in a structured, professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Craft Individual & Business Tax Returns: Ensure accurate, timely submissions and maintain seamless processes. Business return knowledge preferred but not required. 
• Prioritize and Hustle: Approach each case with a sharp eye and a strong work ethic.
• Communicate with Clients: Guide them through tax prep and ensure all necessary paperwork is in order.
• Earn Bonuses: Earn up to $800 extra per month!

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must-have: CTEC and PTIN
• Experience: 2+ years, with business tax returns experience (preferred)
• Knowledge: Proficient with Schedules A, B, C, D preparation and nuances & Amendments
• Expertise: Familiarity with amended returns and PRO-Series tax software
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in asking meaningful fact-finding questions and analyzing limited tax information
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of accounting processes, bookkeeping experience, and tax preparation software troubleshooting
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer skills
