Roche Landscape Services, a leader in residential and commercial landscape construction, is excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Skid Loader Operator to join our dynamic team. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who is adept in handling complex landscape projects and is committed to the highest standards of job-site safety and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate skid loaders and other heavy machinery on landscape and construction sites.
• Perform essential tasks such as grading, material handling, and site preparation to the highest standards.
• Collaborate closely with crew leaders and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications.
• Meticulously read and follow site plans and architectural layouts provided by supervisors or clients.
• Conduct basic equipment checks at the beginning and end of each shift and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues to the maintenance team.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of operations and task completion, adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in operating skid loaders and other related heavy equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to adhering to safety regulations and operational best practices.
• Competence in reading and interpreting site plans and technical documents.
• Exemplary communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High level of reliability and punctuality.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and carry out demanding physical tasks.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
