Nuclear Energy Opportunity Overview: Senior Metering Project Engineer- E&C position base in Florida. 1) West Palm Beach, FL 2) Daytona/Sanford FL Hybrid Schedule. You can work remotely with Travel requirements: ~10% . This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You would be the Technical Metering Project Manager/Engineer and to oversee the metering systems for renewable design, and construction. You will ensure all metering activities meet project requirements and align with commercial agreements. You will span from concept development through construction and commissioning. You will work with engineering, development, business management, transmission services, and other external team members. You will have a knowledge of overall substation design, and knowledge of complex metering systems. You will report to the onsite Manager. Your Day-to-Day:

• Provide engineering design support
• Track and reports on project contractual execution and design progress
• Deliver company standards, policies, and support of organization
• Prepare communications, presentations and provide support at meetings
• Create research, and develop improvement measures
• Work with other departments to establish customer requirements
• Will working with extended hours

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's – Engineering
• Experience: 15+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience, and Project Management
• We require 3+ years of experience.
• Typical metering experience includes an ability to read protection and control drawings,
• Understanding of instrument transformers includes knowledge of type, accuracy, and burden (CT, PTs, CVTs). The job requires familiarity with metering technologies, with a focus on Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters. Additionally, understanding of meter to meter (peer to peer) schemes is necessary.
• Familiarity with loss compensation methods for transformers, including iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) losses, is also important.
• This includes generator tie line loss compensation and sharing losses amongst different technologies or PPA customers.
• Furthermore, the ability to program meters or create metering templates is important.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65.00/hr. to $70.00/hr.
