Decree #4021 dated 14 October 2026 published in the Official Gazette #46 on 22 October 2026 has increased the daily transportation allowance of the private sector employees from LBP 450,000 to 5 Liters of Gasoline per working day starting from its publication date (i.e. 22 October 2026). The value of the daily transportation allowance is based on the official average price of the gallon of Gasoline defined by the Ministry of Energy and should not exceed LBP 800,000 and not be less than LBP 500,000 for the 5 liters.
